It’s been a while, but we’re back with another episode of the Lightning Seeds Podcast. As we’re doing this in chronological order, we are focusing on Ian Broudie’s solo debut, Tales Told. There were five years between Tilt and Tales Told, so nine months between podcasts is quite on-brand really.

Here’s the album art with the reissue (vinyl) and the original 2004 release (CD), so you can see the subtle differences in the title and the photo. Also, that wonderful looking guitar on the Smoke Rings EP.

The reissue also came with a 7″ EP that included the four extra tracks we speak about. The gatefold sleeve also uses the same image as used in the Smoke Rings EP sleeve.
