Rockonteurs is a brilliant, entertaining podcast with Guy Pratt and Gary Kemp. Gary Kemp you’ll recognise as the principal songwriter and guitarist from Spandau Ballet, plus he’s tried his hand at acting including portraying Ronnie Kray. Guy Pratt is a bass playing legend, having been the touring bassist for Pink Floyd, and has a long list of bass playing credits including Madonna, Michael Jackson and more importantly Sophie Ellis Bextor. He’s also co-written many songs including Vindaloo and Jimmy Nail’s Ain’t No Doubt. He’s also done comedy shows. Gary and Guy currently tour with Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets playing the early Syd Barret era Pink Floyd.
Season three began with a great interview with Ian, and it’s worth remembering that this podcast was recorded a while before the book came out. It “dropped” as the hip people say just before See You In The Stars came out. Catch on Spotify or watch on Youtube below.
